Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Insightlytix at insightlytix.com (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including free and paid plan users.

2. Description of service

Insightlytix is an AI-powered analytics assistant that connects to your Google Analytics 4 account and generates plain-English business insights using OpenAI’s GPT-4o language model. The Service is provided on a subscription basis with a limited free tier.

3. Accounts and eligibility

  • You must have a valid Google account to use Insightlytix.
  • You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
  • You must own, or have authorised access to, any Google Analytics property you connect to Insightlytix. Do not connect properties you do not have permission to access.
  • One account per person. Do not share login credentials.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to circumvent plan limits or usage enforcement
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the API
  • Connect Google Analytics properties belonging to third parties without authorisation
  • Resell or sublicense access to the Service
  • Use the Service to generate misleading or fraudulent reports

5. Plans and billing

The Free plan provides 5 AI analyses per month at no cost. Paid plans (Starter and Pro) are billed monthly via Stripe. All fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

We reserve the right to change plan pricing with 30 days’ notice. Price changes will not affect active paid subscriptions until the next billing cycle after the notice period.

If a payment fails, your account will revert to the Free plan limits at the end of your current billing period.

6. AI-generated content

Insights generated by Insightlytix are produced by an AI language model (OpenAI GPT-4o) based on the data in your GA4 account. You acknowledge that:

  • AI insights are informational only and do not constitute professional business, legal, or financial advice.
  • The accuracy of insights depends on the accuracy and completeness of your GA4 data.
  • You are responsible for any business decisions made based on AI-generated content.
  • We do not guarantee that insights will be error-free or that recommendations will produce specific outcomes.

7. Intellectual property

All software, design, and content on insightlytix.com is owned by Insightlytix and protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service without written permission.

You retain ownership of your Google Analytics data. We claim no ownership over data accessed from your GA4 property.

8. Third-party services

The Service integrates with Google Analytics, OpenAI, Supabase, and Stripe. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of any third-party service.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Insightlytix shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 6, 7, 9, and 10 survive termination.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict of law principles.
